Hello!

Posted by Agente001Tomhson - September 7th, 2018

I think it is about time that I introduce myself a bit.

Hello everyone, my name is Agente and I am a person who creates music here on Newgrounds. My main style that I am trying to learn is the "Orchestral-Dubstep"-Style. I still need practice and experience, but it will come over time.

I hope that you enjoy my journey with music and let's see what the future holds! Also if you have any sort of questions, feel free to ask them!

Your track "The Memory Lane" has become one of my favorite songs, and so has your production in general. To me, you really seem like you know what you're doing. Where do you get inspiration for your music? And how did it all start? I'm considering starting a music career similar to yours but I don't know if it's worth investing money considering my poor financial situation.

I am glad that you liked my track!
I got my inspiration mostly from Xtrullor (probably very obvious lmao) and also from other artists such as Talurre, Au5, Xilent, modus and Jinto. I also get quite inspired by a lot of things from my life itself and from a lot of different experiences.
I'd say it started when I listened to "Event Horizon" by Xtrullor, that introduced me to the Genre of Dubstep (in this case, Orchestral Dubstep) and to the world of EDM. 2 years later I joined a Discord Server and met Talurre, which I am very good friends with now, and basically the entire Server tutored me while I was just experimenting around. And I think I am doing music for 1 year now, it is kinda unbelievable for me, but hey, here I am.
In my opinion, it is possible to produce music while staying on a low budget; should you do it? I'd say, do it with caution. It will always be quite a hassle in the beginning when you start learning how to control your DAW, especially if you are quite restricted because of the low budget. But I think it is important to find people who can help you to improve (f.e.: Me when I joined a Server). And if you stay passioned and determined, then you will definitely improve.
